Anyone who listens to the news from time to time has probably noticed what seems to be widespread panic about the US economic situation or the scramble to pick a presidential candidate. At work, people share grieved stories of their 401K’s vanishing overnight and some chime in about their ever increasing mortgages. It’s no secret to the American people that we are going through some tough times. Hearing all of the commotion on economics, politics, and foreign affairs; I couldn’t help but wonder how did we get into this mess and how is the best way to get out? So, in essence that’s what I want this blog to be about. How to understand the economic/political/global world we live in, our place in it and how to make sound decisions for the future. I am by passion and profession a researcher who values knowledge above all else. I love pouring through the latest economist, diving into search engines and in the words of Sarah Palin “reading everything I can get my hands on.” So, with that I begin my adventures into blogging and hope you will join me in getting to the heart of questions and answering the things people all really want to know.
